Assistance with Legion Projects

In 2004, the Women's Auxiliary, in concert with the Legion Vets, presented authentic copies of The Bill of Rights and The Constitution to the Decatur Community Junior / Senior High School History Class.       We are very proud to participate in encouraging our youngsters to achieve a higher understanding of the precious personal freedoms we have here in the United States and at the same time, reminding them of the great sacrifices made on their behalf by our men and women of the Armed Forces.

Phyllis & Lois, along with the support of the Auxiliary, take advantage of a local "Whoop-de-Doo" and promote the sale of the Legions' tribute to the veterans of WWII.

The Auxiliary always helps the Legion get the Flags ready for the annual Avenue of Flags, a celebration of our home-grown heroes and Veterans who have gone to their reward.
