Russian Tea Balls

Ingredients

        1 CUP BUTTER
        1/2 CUP SIFTED CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
        1 TBSP VANILLA
        2 1/4 CUPS FLOUR
        1/4 TSP SALT
        3/4 CUP FINELY CHOPPED PECANS



Directions


  MIX BUTTER, SUGAR, AND VANILLA THOROUGHLY.
BLEND IN SIFTED FLOUR ANDSALT, MIX IN NUTS.
 CHILL FOR ONE HOUR.  PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES.
ROLL DOUGH INTO 1-INCHBALLS.
BAKE ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET FOR
10-12 MINUTES UNTIL SET BUT NOT BROWN.
ROLL WHILE WARM  IN CONFECTIONER'S SUGAR!!!
